Chatw Features — Rooms, DMs, Group Chats, Pictures and Videos
Everything Chatw does, with no registration: chat rooms, private messages, group chats, pictures, videos, GIFs, voice notes, voice calls and live camera.
No registration
Pick a name and start chatting. No email, no phone number and no sign-up. If you want to keep your name on other devices, you can add a username and password later. There is still no email.
Chat rooms
Four rooms: the main adult room, a safe-for-work room, a Suggestions room and a Voice room. Name and gender sit next to every message. Reply to a message, react with an emoji, mention someone by name, and vote in polls.
Private messages (DMs)
Click a name to write to them in private. Choose whether anyone can message you or only by request. Edit or delete your own messages, react with emojis, and delete a whole chat for both of you.
View-once pictures disappear after the other person opens them once.
Group chats
Start a group chat with up to 300 people. Keep it private, or make it public so anyone can find it in Find groups and join, with a password if you want one. Group chats have the same pictures, videos, voice notes and voice calls as private messages.
Pictures, videos and GIFs
Send pictures and videos in the rooms, in private messages and in group chats. Paste a GIF from another website, or search for one in the GIF picker. Record a voice note or a short camera clip right from the message box.
Take a photo with the in-chat camera. On a phone it gets a Taken live badge, so people know it is a fresh photo and not a saved one.
Voice and live camera
Call someone from a private or group chat. In the main room, Go live sends your voice, or your camera, to everyone in the room.
Profiles
Add a profile picture, a banner, a short bio and a photo gallery. Save favorite GIFs and videos, add friends, and block anyone you do not want to hear from.
Knowing who is real
An optional voice check shows you spoke live. Photo verification shows your picture is really you. The HUMAN badge means our staff checked the person is a real person, not a bot.
On your phone
Chatw works in any phone browser. On Android you can also install the Chatw app.
